Refund Policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers the challenge fee you pay to You-thon through Stripe. Donations to charities are made through Every.org and are covered under "Donations" below. You-thon has no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

Cancelling a challenge

• A host can abandon (cancel) a challenge from its challenge page at any time before it ends.
• If you abandon a challenge after paying its fee, we automatically refund the full amount you paid to the card you paid with.
• Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

After a challenge ends

Once a challenge's end date has passed, its fee is not refunded automatically. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.

If a refund does not arrive

Automatic refunds can occasionally fail. If a refund has not reached you within 10 business days, email us and we will look into it.

Disputes

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also dispute a charge with your card issuer; we respond to disputes through Stripe.

Donations

• Donations are paid to the charity through Every.org. You-thon never receives donation money, so we cannot refund donations; contact Every.org about a donation.
• A supporter can cancel a pledge at any time before paying it; nothing is charged for a pledge.
